We are excited to announce that our Greenpower Race Day for Class 4 children will be at Curborough Spring Course again this year.  This is an all-day event and promises to be a wonderful experience for our Year 5 and 6 pupils who have been working on their racing cars in their D&T lessons.

During the day children will get to launch / and or drive their cars in a variety of slalom, time-trial and head-to-head races.  They will exhibit their cars and present their portfolio work for judging.  Throughout the day they will also participate as pit-crew and support their team.

Parents, and any other supporters, are invited to join us on the day to cheer on our teams.  There will be a spectator's area available with good views of the racing circuit separate from the participants.  Unfortunately, no dogs are allowed on site.  Please feel free to join us for all or part of the day to suit your schedule.  Bring a camping chair or picnic rug, and if any parents can bring a portable gazebo that would be very useful to provide shade or shelter.

Curborough Spring Course is about two miles north of Lichfield.  It is accessed off Netherstowe Lane, very close to the junction with Wood End Lane.  Wood End Lane runs from the A38 at Fradley Business Park through to the A515 south of Kings Bromley.  It is near to, BUT NOT AT the F1 karting centre, so be careful not to confuse the two!

Drop-off is from 9am and children must be present by 9:30.  If you are not staying to spectate then please ensure your child is received by their teacher before you leave.  Collection at the end of the day will be around 3pm.
