1 April 2021
Easter is here! We've had an odd term but it's been packed with lots of learning, and I am so pleased with everything the class has done. From reforming friendships and getting back into the routine of school-life, to creating their own menus and exploring Black History!
Next term, PE will move days. We will have PE on Mondays and Thursdays. Please send your children to school in their PE kits on these days. As a reminder, PE kits should be: a plain white t-shirt, plain black joggers or shorts and a plain black jacket. Please do not send your children to school wearing clothes with logos.
We ask that your child bring their reading diary to school every day next term, and that they read to an adult at least 3 times a week, with a signature. Children who have read 5 times will be awarded a token for their house.
All pencil cases will be sent home over Easter. Please check these to ensure your child has the following equipment:
- a pencil and a handwriting pen (if they have their license)
- a ruler
- a rubber
- a sharpener
- a glue stick
- a whiteboard pen.
Outdoor Learning is starting next term, with Class 3 outside on Wednesdays. Individual children will be chosen for this and their parents will be made aware. If your child is participating in Outdoor Learning next term, please ensure they come to school with clothes which can get dirty.
Thank you all for your support throughout lockdown, the help you provided to your children has been invaluable in helping them to keep up with the curriculum. Have a restful Easter.
