Hedgehogs and ducks!

We have had a lovely start to the new term learning all about Hedgehogs in the build up to Hedgehog awareness week which starts today and runs until the 7th of May. Class One have made some very cute hedgehogs out of pinecones and the older children have helped assess our school site to see how we can improve it to become an official hedgehog friendly school. The children were inspired to independently make hedgehogs from our large construction and to create hedgehog inspired art work. 

We also had a very lovely surprise when we discovered a duck has laid her eggs in our Forest School site. We are all excited to hopefully see some ducklings very soon!
