Lots of fun tonight protecting our water balloons as they were thrown from a great height! 

We have had a great time on the climbing wall today….. we’re just off now to scrap heap challenge. 
 

Nursery have been learning and practicing counting forwards and backwards using number rhymes. They also used their fingers to represent amounts! Well done nursery! 

In art this term we are studying architecture. We have looked at the work of Wren, Gaudi and Foster so far. The children have compared the styles of each architect and looked for features that are evident in each style of each building.

We’ve been talking about VIPs, and how God is a VIP to Christians. So of course, we had to have our own VIPs in class, and we treated them to a walk down the red carpet. Some of us then asked our VIPs for a selfie! 

In PE we have been learning new football skills. Today we practiced dribbling, toe taps, and passing the ball with control.

After working hard in maths Class 2 are enjoying a well deserved 5 minute brain break. 

Today in maths the children have been exploring greater than, less than and equal to. We used the straws and cubes to represent this the symbols and quantities within 10. 

Reception have been learning about sorting! We have been sorting into one criteria and more! There has been lots of super discussion, problem solving, matching and talking about similarities and differences. 

We read my five senses and talked about our senses together! We created face biscuits using all of our senses. We used touch and described the ingredients as sticky and smooth. We used smell and lots of things smelt sweet. We listened to instructions and the foil rustling. We looked at our…

In RE this week we have been learning about what God means to Christians. The children were given the opportunity to present their knowledge  creatively. These are some of the amazing ideas that Class 4 came up with. 

This week we have been learning about electricity. The children learnt how to creat circuits to light up a bulb and to sound a buzzer.
