Image of Class 3 Tamworth Castle Trip

As part of their history learning, Class 3 will be visiting Tamworth Castle.  This trip will give children the opportunity to take part in two Anglo-Saxon workshops (learning more about the role of an archaeologist and what life was like as a Saxon soldier) as well as viewing the castle.

The trip takes place within the school day, so children should arrive promptly at 8:45am so that we do not encounter any delays with the coach pick up.  We will arrive back at school in time for the usual collection time at 3:15pm.  Children must bring a packed lunch, water bottle and wear their normal school uniform with a warm coat.  They will not require any spending money.

We believe this day will be both educational and enjoyable for the children, providing them with a memorable experience that brings their history lessons for this half term to life.

Permission and payment (both available to view on Arbor) should be made by Friday 23rd January.
