Welcome Back!

Welcome Back and welcome to Class 2!

We're really excited to have you all back into school this September. We've got so many fun activities planned for you this year. Please familiarise yourself with the website. I have uploaded spellings, an example weekly timetable, expectations and homework expectations (we will release Big Maths logins asap). This year we are really lucky to have Mr Challinor back to teach PE, Mrs Elliott to teach French, Mrs Parkes to teach music, Georgia to teach dance and drama, Miss Wood to teach forest school and Alex to teach cookery. Dance and drama, forest school and cookery will run on a rota basis which will rotate each half term.

A few key notes to remember:

PE will be on Monday and Tuesday for our Class. Please come dressed in PE kits on these days, ready for the lesson. 

Spelling tests will be on Monday afternoons, completed in reading diaries so that you can see children's scores. Spellings can be found on the spellings page on the website. Please familiarise yourself. I have uploaded the spellings until the Spring in case you would like a head start. 

Reading books will be changes on Thursday afternoons. Please read with children 5 times and write in reading diaries so children can earn house tokens. I will give out 2 books each week and please reread the books to build children's fluency. 

We encourage children to bring a pencil case into school with them. Please provide them with: a pencil, ruler, sharpener, whiteboard pen, gluestick and colouring pencils.

Please send in a water bottle with your child each day.
