World War I
This week we have started our new topic in history - World War I. We read the poem In Flanders Fields and created our own watercolour paintings inspired by the poem. We hope you like them!
RE: Creation
Today we started our new RE unit, What do Christians learn from the Creation Story?. As a class, we explored the outdoor areas of our school. We took pictures of all of the wonderful things God has created and discussed why they are so special.
Flower Power
What a busy week! We have enjoyed reading our whole school text, Flower Power, and doing lots of activities based on the book. We have written poems, done some gardening and did a mini artist study on Van Gogh. We were lucky to meet the author of Flower Power, Caroline Wedd, on Friday to ask lots…
Brush your teeth!
Today we have learnt all about dental hygiene. We already knew so much and really impressed our teachers!
Kings Bromley Show artwork
We have been working hard on our artwork for the Kings Bromley Show. We used potatoes cut into different shapes to print the caterpillar and his food. We hope you like them!
Reading with Class 3
We had a lovely time sharing stories with Class 3.
Multicultural Day
We loved working with the older children on Multicultural Day. We worked hard to create our own mehndi designs in Class 1.
Caterpillars - thank you PTA and Miss Wood!

Minibeast Hunt
This week we have been learning about mini beasts. We found so many around school including slugs, beetles, worms, ants, bees, spiders and earwigs!
Church Construction
In RE, we have been learning all about the Church. This week, we used our knowledge of the features of a church to build our own. We hope you like our buildings!
