Class 2 have got creative this morning making a selection of items for Christmas including decorations for our Christmas tree in church.

Today in maths we have been using the hundreds squeaks times help us order and sequence numbers from 20 to 50.
Walsall Art Gallery
Class 3 had a fantastic day today at Walsall Art Gallery. We made pottery, sculpted models out of plasticine and looked and talked about a variety of different pieces of art.
The Gunpowder Plot
Today in English/history we have learning about Guy Fakes and the Gunpowder Plot. We writes wanted posters for Guy Fawkes and then we did some Bonfire Night art.

In maths today our Year 1 children have been using the part whole model to work out additions within 10.
Homophones
In phonics today Year 2 have been learning about homophones. They also celebrated space week by presenting their work in a space themed way.
Number Bonds to 10
Class 2 got creative today in maths making love hearts to help them remember their bonds to 10.
TT Rockstars Day
Class 2 had a fantastic day looking at our 2, 5 and 10 times tables.
Wedgwood
In art today we used our designs to make our own Wedgwood inspired piece of pottery.
Harvest Crowns
In Class 2 this week we have been looking at Autumn poetry in English and learning about Harvest in RE. This afternoon we combined our learning and made Harvest crowns.

In art today our Year 2 children are designing their own pottery based on the work of Josiah Wedgwood.
