In art today we were experimenting with tints and shades. We then added white to blue to see if we could make ‘Wedgwood Blue’.

Today our Year 2 children are independently planning the story ‘Dear Zoo’. Tomorrow they will retell the story and add in their own animals.

In maths today we have been looking at the numbers 11 - 15. We worked in pairs and partitioned numbers into tens and ones using the part whole model.

In English today we looked at different zoo animals in groups. We had to think about how our animal moved? What it looked like and how it sounded? As a class we had to decide which animal we thought it was.
