Super teamwork today to create a dragon head for Chinese New Year! We cannot wait to use it to take part in a dragon dance as a team! 

Today in learning through play lots of us decided to create junk model dragons! We had scary dragons, kind dragons, and even dragons that used their fire breathing skills to cook their tea! 

We have used our creative skills to assemble moving dragons! We will be using them to create our own dragon dances this week! 

We love to share stories on a Friday afternoon with our friends! 

We have had a busy day learning about the Mr Men but found time to sit, relax and read. 

Today we made triangles, drew triangles and cut out triangles as part of our work on Mr Rush. 

Nursery have been drawing the characters from the story The Gruffalo! We heard s for snake and had a go at writing the letter for the sound s! Nursery are also working very hard on their name writing development! 

We have been getting creative and freely painting our own Gruffalo! 

Reception learnt about the parable The Seed Sower. We started to talk about the key messages from the story. We then planted our own cress! We are already watching closely to see what happens to the seeds.

Nursery have been working hard on developing their fine motor skills through activities like using the tweezers! This is all going to help us develop amazing pencil control.

Today we explored the composition of 5! We threw the five beanbags and then counted or subitised how many landed in the hoop and how many landed outside the hoop. We recorded what happened using pictures and numerals. We looked at the total and found it was still 5!
