Class 4

We have had another great afternoon knitting and using our looms. 

We have made Christmas decorations for our Christmas tree that will be on show in the Cathedral soon. We have also made cards for the community.

Today we worked on ideas for our Christmas fair games.  We have some great ideas for next Friday.

We had lots of fun at the cinema today. The film helped us understand that we play an important role in our world and environment. The main character showed us that we can be whatever we want to be and that it is up to us to fly like eagles. We do not have to be what other people expect us to be…

Just a reminder that Class 4 will be on a trip to see a film on Tuesday 19th November. The film will be in Burton and we will be back in school for lunchtime. Children need to be in full uniform as normal and may bring a small snack and bottle of water with them.

We have worked on showing emotion through gymnastics and dance to tell the story of war and its effects on people. 

We are Creative and Expressive

We have also been looking into how World War 2 effected people in our lives. If you have any stories, photos or information about your own families please bring them into school. 

Today we started our DT topic of knitting. We practised knitting with needles and using looms. The children displayed perseverance and positivity and really supported each other. Another great afternoon. 

We have worked on our typing skills and fluency around a keyboard today. We had lots of fun becoming Technological.
