Today we classified sweets! We have been looking at the classification of living things and tried to create our own classification system. Only 2 sweets were harmed during the lesson

Year 6 girls planned their own Worship based on endangered animals.

Our Worship team go from strength to strength each week and are a credit to the school.

We have really enjoyed gym this term and have worked hard on designing our own routines as well as following those given.
Big Maths
Big Maths is a crucial part of what we do at St Mary's.
The CLIC test is a set of 10 questions involving number.
E.g. The four operations, doubling/halving, multiplying by 10/100, using decimals. Each child works on a CLIC test of a level appropriate to them and when they have achieved…
Football fun
We had great fun today in PE. We started our football lessons by looking at how to pass with the inside of our foot. We worked well in pairs and threes despite the cold. Don’t forget warm clothes, shin pads and boots if you have them next week.

Festive French
The children in class 4 were feeling very festive today in French as they designed and described their snowman’s Christmas jumper. They chose their own designs and followed a writing frame to help with correct word order and adjectival endings - Joyeux Noël
