Baking star biscuits for our space picnic!
We have worked as a team to make the biscuit dough! We cut out our own star shapes and baked them!
Drawing Trees in Art
In our Art lesson this week we have been learning to draw realistic trees. There have been some great efforts.

In art today we used the coil method to make a pot out of clay.
Special Helpers in Class 4….
We have had some special helpers in Class 4 today. Devon and Minnie were very popular and loved helping us with our Whole Class Reading.
Making Music
In music today we have been learning to play the notes G A B on the glockenspiel. We played a variety of different tunes together and then we composed our own pieces in pairs. We made a lot of noise!
Bus Stop Method in Maths
We have been learning to calculate using short division. We have been amazing at using the bus stop method. Well done Class 4!
Building shape rockets!
We arranged shapes to create a rocket to zoom into space! We talked about the shapes we used to create the rockets and the properties of the shapes.
RE - Sikhism

We can make a pattern with 3D shapes!
In maths today we used the construction resources in our outdoor area to make a 3D shape pattern. We discovered that every day objects are 3D shapes. We used bricks and crates for cuboids and pipes for cylinders. We also worked well as a team.
