We are just heading out on our ride around the Jorvik Centre.

We are having a great time at the Viking DIG site. We have found so many interesting artefacts.

We have had a lovely walk into York. We are now at our DIG Tour where we are having a go at being Archeologists. 

 

Morning….. we have had breakfast and are getting ready to pack our things together.We are off to the Jorvik Centre today! 
 

Tonight we are enjoying making some Viking Shields. 

This afternoon we are have been making some Viking Bread!

We have had a fun afternoon playing team games. 

In maths today Year 1 have been using the ten frames to find number bonds to 20. We used our prior knowledge of number bonds to 10 to help us.

We are really enjoying making our Viking Longships this afternoon. 
Maybe they need to work on being more fierce!!!! 

We have arrived in the youth hostel and have just had our lunch. We are just about to start our first activity.

In Class 4 we have been learning about graffiti. Over the last few weeks we have designed and made our graffiti stencils and tags. The children thought carefully about the important message that they wanted to share with the world. Excitingly, we were able spray our designs around school. Well…
