Jubilee day
We enjoyed collective Worship today where we reflected on our wonderful Queen and the peace she brings to our country.
Flying like eagles in class one!
We have had a super week full of amazing learning and behaviour! We have flown like eagles!
Reception have been learning about feelings and emotion!
Reception talked about the emotions of the people in the pictures. We thought of different words for happy, sad and angry. Then we sorted into feelings. We thought about why the people may have felt sad, happy and angry and we thought of solutions to any problems the people had along the way.…
Planting a tree for the Queen!
We celebrated the Jubilee at school today! We learnt more about the 70 years the Queen has been on the throne and then we planted seven trees for each decade. It has been super to learn more about our country’s history!
FIRST WEEK BACK!!!!!
This week in Class 3 we have been learning about prehistoric humans and neanderthals.Did you know that we are scientifically called homo sapiens?
We have planted beans and we are going to water and measure their roots over seventeen days.

Class one created a timeline of the key events in the Queen’s life as a team! We shared our learning and presented our timeline to class three!
Creativity!
We have been very creative and use lots of different materials to create The Queen!

We used loose parts to create beaches today! We have used super creativity!
Class one had a super time at the farm!
Class one had a wonderful time at the farm! We made bread, explored the farm, fed and met the goats, collected eggs and met the cows and calves! It was a brilliant day!
THE BEST FRENCH LESSON EVER!!!!!
In French we had the best French lesson ever! Madam Elliot put on a really bad [but funny] Scottish accent.We are going to run[couir] around England [Angletere!]
Summer 2
Thank you for a lovely half term Class 2. Year 2 have worked so hard to complete their SATs tests - well done Year 2.
I'm looking forward to some brighter weather and us being able to get outside more for lessons and gardening in the last Summer half term.
