We started to think about how we would make structures for playground equipment today. Here’s a round about, a see saw and a rocking horse.

This afternoon the Phunky Food ambassadors led an assembly on eating healthy and well. 

We have taken part in lots of Easter themed learning through play this week. 

We have been learning the igh sound in phonics! Some of us made yellow I using the play dough today! 

We have enjoyed lots of Easter themed learning through play activities today! We have also been busy creating Easter cards! 

Reception compared numbers up to 10. Some of us build the number block towers, some of us printed numberblocks and others drew them! We compared 2 numbers and talked about which was more and which was fewer. 

We had so much fun sharing tea and cake with our Mum’s today. It was lovely to have parents back in school. 

We have been enjoying the Spring sunshine during all our outdoor learning this week. The children have been very creative making items for our outdoor worship area. Class One enjoyed making tiny crosses with sticks and wool. Also lot's more fun occurred in the mud kitchen, we even found a nest in…

What an amazing time we had at New Walsall Art gallery. We saw a Monet and Van Gogh painting and had fun with sculpture and printing. We also saw some powerful artwork that made us really think. What a great day.

We are creative and expressive. 

This afternoon we’ve been investigating leaves. We sorted them into groups, learnt about their function and used or observational skills to draw them. Great creativity Class 2!

In RE Reception have been learning more about Easter. We have been learning why the cross is special to Christian people. We create our own crosses. We took some over to church with us to show Reverend Anne! 

Such a wonderful day today in Colton. A beautiful village. We loved our walk to church where we learned all about Palm Sunday.
