Loaves and Fish!
After reading about how kind and helpful Jesus was, when he fed a large crowd with bread and fish, we made our own bread. We also made picnic baskets, so we could be like the people who sat and listened to Jesus as he taught.
Christingle
Today in RE we learnt about Advent and the significance of the Advent Wreath. We then learnt about and made Christingles in preparation for our Church service.
Hanukkah
In RE, we have been learning about festivals of light. This week, we explored Hanukkah. As part of our lesson, we made dreidels and played the dreidel game, which is a popular game for Jewish children to play during Hanukkah.
Diwali
To celebrate Diwali festival, we made Rangoli patterns from natural resources we found around school.
Diwali celebration!
We designed our own Mehndi patterns for the celebration of Diwali! We have listened to the story of Rama and Sita, created diya lamps and rangoli patterns. We have enjoyed learning about our friends celebrations at home too.
Questions for a Christian or a Cosmologist
In RE we having been thinking about different types of questions that we would like to ask a scientist and a Christian. The children came up with some very thought provoking questions. They also enjoyed presenting their work in an exciting way.

Harvest Crowns
In Class 2 this week we have been looking at Autumn poetry in English and learning about Harvest in RE. This afternoon we combined our learning and made Harvest crowns.
Uttoxeter Church Walk
We had a brilliant day visiting six different churches in Uttoxeter.
