States of matter - Chocolate

This week we have been really busy, we have written and edited adventure stories, learned about geographical features of continents, and looked at changing states of matter.
We explored the changes in chocolate from a solid to a liquid by melting it, and then so it didn’t go to waste we made rice crispie cakes which were very popular. (No photos as we were all having too much fun!). We then made posters in pairs to illustrate the changes that happen when materials change from one state to another.

Lots of fun has been had and we have used our teamwork skills every day, as well as our communication skills. As a class we are really working hard when we work with others and learning different ways to complete tasks when working as groups.

After a long walk this morning with the rest of the school we are ready for a rest this weekend!
