Reception have started to learn how to read with the Monster Phonics!

This week Reception began their reading journey with the Monster Phonics!

The children have really enjoyed taking part in their first lessons learning the sounds s,a,t and p. We have learned how to say the sounds and how to write the letter that represents the sound. We have practised forming the letters in sand, on Chinese water paper and using dough! 

We welcomed our grown up into Class One to show them our support Monster Phonics learning and to show them how to support our reading at home.
