Class 2

Today we finished reading the great dragon rescue. We pretended to be George and wrote letters to our friends to tell them about the exciting day we had. We concentrated so well on writing and all got to use a pen to write.

We’ve had a lot of fun this morning. We’ve been making playgrounds using junk modelling materials. Then we painted and evaluated them.

Class 2 have been learning some common French Easter related words so they loved going on an Easter hunt outside today to search for these French words and pictures. 
What a lot of fun!

Superbe et joyeuses Pâques!

We started to think about how we would make structures for playground equipment today. Here’s a round about, a see saw and a rocking horse.

Today we set up our own investigations about flowers. We all decided on a question that we wanted to answer and then thought about how we could set up an investigation to answer it. 

Today we identified common garDen and wild plants using a key to find them. We worked with class 1. Class 2 showed excellent leadership skills!

On World Boo Day we read the story of Solomon Crocodile and we created some fabulous artwork based on it. 

We had a lovely morning making pancakes with class 1 today. We worked as a team to make pancake batter and then cook it in frying pans. 

We’ve been staining paper today ready to make posters about the Plague on Friday.
