This morning we followed instructions to make Paddington’s famous marmalade sandwiches. Next we will write our own instructions to make marmalade sandwiches. 
 

We ere learning about imperative verbs and command sentences today. Can you remember what they are? 

In phonics we made little scenes using the aw sound today. We strawberry, drawer, straw and hawk. Can you remember any other aw words we read? 

We took part in the RSPB Big Birdwatch this afternoon. Can you spot any birds this weekend? 

This afternoon we had our love of reading time outside.don’t forget to bring a book with you next week! 

We each spent 5 minutes trying to draw our partners. We looked for the shapes and shadows we could see, not what we though we saw.

Today we’ve been outside drawing from obsevation. We’ve been drawing what we can see in the outdoor area and some of us have been using view finders to help us.

Today we tidied the gardening area and got the soil ready to begin planting this year’s crops. 

Today we’ve been using the microscopes. We had a play with them to of us them and try to look at different objects around the classroom using them.

Some of our class have taken part in whole class reading over the past two weeks. We have enjoyed reading Paddington, echo reading, searching for vocabulary in the text and answering questions. Here we are highlighting key vocabulary in the text.
