Today we all used the computers to write The Lonely Christmas Tree poem. We all showed great resilience and perseverance whilst using the computers.

Today Year 2 have been using place value counters and base 10 to partition numbers in different ways. 

E.g. 

45=40+5

45=30+15

45=20+25

Class 2 enjoyed leaf printing and painting onto stones. We collected some heart shaped leaves to use in our printing to represent one our school values love.

In Religious Education we've been learning about celebrations in different religions. We started by learning about Diwali and the story of Ramayana. Then we learnt about the Purim celebration and the story of Esther. This picture shows a retelling of the story of Esther.

What a wonderful Christingle that was! We all enjoyed taking part in the service this morning.

Today we wrote lovely Christmas wishes and hung them on our Class Christmas tree. 

Yesterday we had fun at forest school. We enjoyed helping to dig in the new tyre seats, we had fun painting in the tree house, we all liked building shelters and we used the mud kitchen and swings.
