Forest School
Please make sure outdoor clothing is in school every week. Children in Class 2 will have Forest School every Monday in small groups with Miss Wood.
Children will need:

Year 1 have been learning about ordinal numbers this week. We have been ordering shapes to solve riddles, organising cars into labelled parking spaces and competing to see who will be 1st, 2nd and 3rd.

Aboriginal Art
Today we have been making Aboriginal art using the end of a paintbroush. We have learned about dotting techniques and talked about the animals that would be in the painting.
African Animal Art
Today we made African animal art by painting animal prints onto the background of our paper and then adding the silhouette of the animal on top.
