Multiplication Fun
In maths this week Class 2 used their shoes, hands and feet to count in twos, fives and tens.
Church Construction
In RE, we have been learning all about the Church. This week, we used our knowledge of the features of a church to build our own. We hope you like our buildings!
Rock grouping
We have been examining different rocks and deciding in teams how to group them.
There was lots of fantastic teamwork and discussion in all groups. Everyone was able to justify their groupings to the rest of the class.
Moon Buggies
In DT this week we have been designing and making a moon buggy. We really enjoyed getting creative and produced some superb pieces of work!

Wolseley Centre
We had a brilliant time at the Wolseley Centre today. We learnt all about the lifecycles of butterflies, frogs and other minibeasts. We went pond dipping and minibeast hunting and learnt lots about the world around us. Our teachers were so impressed with how sensible we were!
More cooking in Class 4......
This week in Class 4 we have been busy preparing for out SATs tests that are next week. However we have found time to do some baking. This week we have made Banana Bread. Where we had a go at mashing, chopping, beating and baking.
Well done Class 4- I think they look great!
Greenpower Race Day Driver Training
This week we have been working with Dr Allan. Excitingly we have been learning to drive the cars that we have been making since January. We had a go a driving around obstacles to help us learn how to steer it properly.
It was a fantastic morning!

PSHE - Helping Others to Get Help
This week we have continued to look at "Helping Others to get Help". We have focussed on helping soneone who does not want help straight away, or who we might be worried about.

Young Girls in Engineering
We were very proud of our Year 6 Girls who attended the ‘JCB Women in Engineering’ afternoon at the JCB Academy.
Excitingly, they managed to build the tallest tower out of straws and marshmallows (measuring a whopping 80cm).

We have had lots of fun this afternoon creating our outdoor artwork inspired by Andy Goldsworthy.
We used materials that were already fallen from plants or lying on the floor, as well as grass, daisies and dandelions to create artwork in groups. We used our plans that we wrote last week and…
Gardening going great!
With the sun and rain this week it’s been perfect growing conditions. Year 5 have their peas and sprouts in the ground and year 6 have some lovely produce growing in the polytunnel.
