Class 3's amazing week!
This week in class 3 we have been learning about the Anglo-Saxons and planning an information text about them.
In Maths we have been learning about remainders. This is an example of one above.
In history we made Anglo-Saxon brooches.
Graffiti stenciling
Our graffiti art is really coming on in Class 4! We have been cutting out our tag stencils ready to spray them next week. We have used lots of creativity and perseverance from our learning tools this week.
What is fair?
As part of our work on the value of Justice we looked at what is fair in school and for young people. Mr Wynn gave us a maths test that was not fair!!

Love of reading time
This afternoon we had our love of reading time outside.don’t forget to bring a book with you next week!
Reading time
We have had a busy day learning about the Mr Men but found time to sit, relax and read.
Portraits
We each spent 5 minutes trying to draw our partners. We looked for the shapes and shadows we could see, not what we though we saw.
Drawing from observation
Today we’ve been outside drawing from obsevation. We’ve been drawing what we can see in the outdoor area and some of us have been using view finders to help us.
Gardening
Today we tidied the gardening area and got the soil ready to begin planting this year’s crops.

Today we’ve been using the microscopes. We had a play with them to of us them and try to look at different objects around the classroom using them.
