Reception maths 'Growing 6,7,8!'

This week Reception will be starting to learn around the next White Rose theme 'Growing 6,7,8!" We will be learning more about the numbers 6, 7 and 8 in maths this week. We will learn about these numbers in depth (We will count with them, draw them, represent them, subitise with them, learn how to make them, look at the part/whole- lots of things!) Here are some episodes of Numberblocks that will help your child to learn more about these numbers as a starting point. Have a look at them together and discuss what can be seen.

I will be teaching Reception more about these numbers on Wednesday and Thursday.
