Today we turned over the soil, planted and watered beetroot. Great teamwork Class 2!

In our science lessons, this week and next, we will be looking at seasons and weather.

As a part of this we will be recording the weather each morning and afternoon to see if the weather is what we would expect for the season we are in.

We managed to get some gardening done this afternoon in between the showers! Look out for the new plants in class 2’s outdoor area. 

Today we were learning to throw and sprint. We finished with a game of ‘hit the teacher’. Well done to Charlotte who managed it.

Sorry, I have confused my dates, Forest school will go ahead this Monday.

We won't be having outdoor learning next Monday (17th May). The current group will rollover into next half term to make sure they have an equal amount of time in the outdoor area. 

Today we’ve researched lions using books from the library. We wrote facts on post its and organised it into different headings. 

Year 1 have been learning about multiplication this week. Here are our arrays for 3x3

Next week we’re going to write information texts about lions. Today we started researching lions by hunting for facts and then matching the facts to questions. Class 2 showed great teamwork!

The weather was so lovely today so we decided to eat our lunch outside.
