Weather walk
Today we went for a weather walk. We looked for signs this the season and talked about how the weather isn’t showing what we would expect to see in the spring/summer.

We were very lucky to have a visit from the Litter Legends this morning. We listened to a story about Lennie and then talked about where litter goes and how it damages the environment. We looked at some litter and and equipment we can use to pick it up.
Gardening fun in the sun!
We had so much fun gardening today. Luckily the weather was nice and we were able to weed and use the compost box. We also turned outer the soil, planted butternut squashes and watered them. We can’t wait to see them grow! Great resilience Class 2!

Science - Weather

In our science lessons, this week and next, we will be looking at seasons and weather.
As a part of this we will be recording the weather each morning and afternoon to see if the weather is what we would expect for the season we are in.

Gardening this afternoon
We managed to get some gardening done this afternoon in between the showers! Look out for the new plants in class 2’s outdoor area.

Sorry, I have confused my dates, Forest school will go ahead this Monday.
We won't be having outdoor learning next Monday (17th May). The current group will rollover into next half term to make sure they have an equal amount of time in the outdoor area.
